Connecticut Explorers Guide
I love this website! It contains links to trail maps for state parks and forests and long distance trails like the Tunxis Trail and the Metacomet Trail. It also has a great directory of more local trails (like land trusts).
CT State Parks and Forests
The place to go for maps of state parks and forests. Also has an interactive map showing all of the park and forest land so that you can choose a location in the area you are interested in.
AllTrails
Just type in your zip code and find trails near you. Other hikers make comments and rate the trails.
CT Forest & Park Association
The group that brought you the CT Walk Book(s). They also have a program called WalkCT that allows you to search for hikes and events near you. Remember to check out their Trail Notices and Relocations before heading out.
NatureFind
On this website, you can search for activities - not necessarily hikes - that are happening at science museums and nature centers.
